The clinical laboratory of Nikos L. Papaloizou was founded in 1988 and represents a pioneering provider of health services in the province that combines advanced technology with a human-centered approach.

From the first years of its operation, it participated in External Interlaboratory Audits. Quality control monitors, ensures and improves the quality of laboratory results, identifies analytical errors and compares and converges analytical performance between participating laboratories.

The continuous evolution of the laboratory reached a milestone in 2010, with the renovation of the space and the strengthening of the equipment. State-of-the-art automatic analyzers were installed and innovative software was integrated, with the aim of providing the highest quality and accuracy of the services provided in the shortest possible time.

In the same year, we set as our main goal the accreditation of the laboratory with the European and International quality model, ISO 15189 [2012], which was completed in November 2011 and was a recognition of the high quality of our services.

The laboratory, directed by Mr. Nikos L. Papaloizou, is staffed with well-trained and experienced personnel, capable of performing the tasks and coping with the stressful working conditions.

We are always committed to supporting the community and have a mobile blood collection unit that can go to homes or nursing homes where residents are bedridden. As for our little friends, in an environment specially designed and accessible for small children and always assisted by our loyal marine friends – partners, we pay special attention to make blood draws more enjoyable.
